Company Description Pennant is building AI-native software for corporate governance, starting with proxy voting and shareholder/company engagement. Institutional investors, public companies and their advisors make consequential decisions using information scattered across filings, policies, research and on the desk conversations. We bring that information together so teams can understand the evidence, apply their own judgment and preserve why they made a decision. Role Description Founder Fellow – GTM, Growth & Strategy is a seasonal role (with potential to convert to full-time) on-site position based in New York, NY. Reports to the Co-founder & CEO; works directly with both founders and domain experts. This role supports go-to-market initiatives by assisting with market research, competitor analysis, and identification of growth opportunities across target segments. The Fellow will help develop and refine messaging, sales collateral, and outreach campaigns, while coordinating with sales and product teams on execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking and reporting key growth and sales metrics, supporting project timelines, and contributing ideas to optimize funnels and customer engagement. The Fellow will also participate in cross-functional meetings, document insights, and help operationalize new GTM experiments.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with vibe-coding experience and the projects and/or portfolio to back it up
  • IRL in NYC
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Effective communication skills to convey insights clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to client-facing materials
  • Growth hacking maniac and sales skills to support customer acquisition experiments, lead generation, and pipeline development
  • Project management skills to organize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate execution across GTM initiatives
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and CRM or marketing platforms is beneficial.
  • Terminally online and strong interest in fintech, AI, capital markets, and corporate strategy
  • Ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-moving environment
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is an advantage
