Senior Accountant | Real Estate Investment & Development Firm | San Francisco; Hybrid

Join a growing real estate investment and development firm with exposure across acquisitions, development, construction, and asset management. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where accounting is closely connected to the business and exciting real estate projects.

Gain broad experience across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, audit, job costing, and partnership accounting while partnering with development and construction teams. Strong work/life balance, generous PTO, fully covered health benefits, and long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare financial and partner reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting, tax, and audit

• Handle job costing and construction draws

• Maintain partner capital and waterfall calculations

• Review loan and partnership agreements

• Partner with development and construction teams

• Support special projects and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally real estate

• GL, fund accounting, audit, public accounting, or tax experience

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• Yardi experience strongly preferred

• Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented
