Description

The Assistant Project Engagement Specialist supports field-based outreach and communications during projects. The Assistant Project Engagement Specialist role focuses on door-to-door engagement, delivery of construction notifications, documentation of stakeholder input, and maintaining an on-site presence under supervision.

  • Assist with conducting door-to-door engagement with residents, businesses, and property owners to share construction information.

  • Update and distribute project notifications and informational materials as directed.

  • Provide a visible on-site presence during active construction to answer basic questions and direct concerns.

  • Accurately document stakeholder interactions, comments, and issues using established tracking tools.

  • Assist with field reports, contact logs, and photo documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with company and project specific safety policies, protocols, and training requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 4 years related experience.

  • Or, Associate Degree in a related field and 2 years related experience.

  • Or, Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Affairs, or related field.

  • Experience in outreach, community engagement, or field-based roles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel to project sites, as required.

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

  • Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.

  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation

$28.00-35.00 Hourly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The final agreed upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of an hourly pay rate and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
