Senior Project Manager - Owners Rep - Electrical Systems

Position Overview

The Owner's Representative Construction Manager (ORCM) serves as the Owner's primary on-site representative, providing field oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project reporting on large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for monitoring construction progress, identifying risks, facilitating communication between project teams, and providing objective insight into project performance to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary liaison between the Owner, General Contractor, design team, commissioning team, and other project stakeholders. Conduct regular site walks to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and communicate potential schedule, quality, or cost impacts. Support project controls activities, including progress tracking, schedule reviews, reporting, and milestone validation. Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field conditions and communicate observations to project stakeholders. Monitor workforce productivity, site logistics, equipment availability, and material deliveries. Support turnover, startup, and commissioning activities by coordinating readiness efforts and field communication. Maintain project documentation, field reports, issue logs, and photographic progress reporting. Promote collaboration, accountability, and alignment across all project participants.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction management, owner's representation, project engineering, field engineering, or superintendent roles. Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation. Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, and owner stakeholders. Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, and project reporting. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Data center, hyperscale, advanced manufacturing, or other complex capital project experience.
