We’re seeking a Regional Supervisor Safety & Security to join our team! In this role, you’ll a ssist the Safety and Security Leader to manage the Safety and Security program for UnityPoint Health to achieve specific operational, quality, safety, security, service and financial goals while providing a safe and secure environment for visitors, patients, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead departmental operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions

  • Maintain and enforce departmental and hospital wide policies, procedures, and standard operating practices

  • Oversee staffing, timekeeping, rounding, budgeting, and daily workflow to ensure efficient and compliant operations

  • Patrol facilities, monitor visitor conduct, investigate incidents, and report safety or security hazards

  • Evaluate and update safety procedures, coordinate workplace injury follow-up , and deliver safety training for staff and vendors

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and implement policy changes to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice , Business, Emergency Management or a related field is preferred

Experience:

  • M ust have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in law enforcement or security

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Required Upon Hire:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Non-Professional Permit to Carry
