Job Title: Full-Time Marketing SpecialistAgency: Atlanta Technical College Job Requisition ID: JR0000004412Shift: Any (United States of America)Compensation Details: $55,000.00 ANNUALLY Job Description: Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Full-Time Marketing Specialist position in the Communications, Marketing and Public Relations division. This position is located at Atlanta Tech's Main campus just south of Downtown Atlanta.
Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations (CMPR)Division, the Full-Time Marketing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating marketing and planning efforts at a technical college or TCSG System Office.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and plans marketing efforts for the college with the guidance of the VP of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations;
- Take photos and write news releases to be submitted to local media;
- Assist with producing official publications including newsletter, brochures, annual reports, catalog, and other print media;
- Assist in planning, coordination, and publicity of special events and promotions;
- Assist with social media presence for the college;
- Assist with maintaining the school semester activity calendar;
- Assist in marketing various college services;
- Research and select promotional materials;
- Provide updates for college website with latest news and photos; and
- Perform additional duties, as assigned.

- Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs

- Decision making and problem-solving skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and demonstrate an Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university AND Three (3) years of work-related experience.
Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate a Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university in Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or closely related field required AND Four (4) or more years of work-related experience
Desired Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written communication, collaboration, and customer service skills. Strong foundation in marketing concepts, social media marketing, customer experience, and marketing collateral design. Strong creativity, analysis and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or marketing related software.
