  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Job Summary :

  • Assists the hospital nurses, technologists, and physicians in ensuring safe, efficient patient transports on Nursing Units and within the Radiology Department, and provides assistance in reception and phone duties within the department.

  • Education :

  • A high school diploma, GED, or current high school student with work permit.

  • Registration/Certification/Licensure :

  • None Specified

  • Experience :

  • Position requires 6-12 months experience in a medical setting. Willing to train interested candidates with strong oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.

  • Other Requirements :

  • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

  • Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques in daily practice.

  • Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction.
