Full job description
Position Summary: The Specialty Clinic Office Coordinator functions as a focal point of communications; coordinates clerical activities, manages financial records, daily charges and liaisons with the business office. They are primarily responsible for insurance billing, pre-certification, and financial counseling of all accounts. Preforms all admissions and discharge registration functions as required. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of general medical office or hospital experience. Must have a general knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with coordination of scheduling and patient flow required. CPR certification preferred or ability to attain within three months probation period. Willingness to keep up with current Medicare, Medicaid and insurance regulations and attend necessary seminars and workshops.
