Job Description

We work as a team to clean the canals that move irrigation water through town. This time of year the canals are dewatered and dry. We remove grass, weeds, branches and occasionally dirt from the canal system. Employees will rake and gather grass and leaves and then load it in the dump truck for transport. Some employees will use power equipment to cut grass and trees from the banks and right of way of the canals. We will be working for about five weeks this fall depending on our progress and the weather.
