Full job description
Responsibilities:
New Employee Orientation & Experience
-
Lead the design, facilitation, administration, and continuous improvement of New Employee Orientation (Welcome Day).
-
Develop new employee resources, learning pathways, and engagement touchpoints that support employee integration, productivity, and retention.
-
Partner with stakeholders to manage and ensure consistent and engaging new employee experiences across the organization.

Coordinate and strengthen onboarding partnerships across Human Resources, including collaboration with Recruitment and technical learning teams (clinical, schools, and community) to ensure seamless transitions and effective handoffs.

Analyze new employee survey data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends and recommend improvements.

Serve as the face of the organization for new employees by creating an outgoing, welcoming, and inclusive experience that fosters connection, engagement, and a positive first impression of the organization.
Learning & Organizational Development
-
Consult with department leaders to assess learning, development, and organizational effectiveness needs.

Translate employee engagement feedback and organizational priorities into targeted learning and development strategies.

Support the creation and implementation of system-wide learning initiatives aligned with organizational values, culture, and strategic goals.

Supports the coordination and evaluation of Leadership Academy program.

Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop engaging and effective learning experiences.

Maintain learning program records in the Learning Management System (Relias) as needed.
Employee Recognition Program
-
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive employee recognition strategy designed to strengthen engagement and retention.
-
Assess current recognition practices and recommend enhancements that align with organizational culture and values.
-
Partner with HR and organizational leaders to promote meaningful recognition initiatives across the organization.
Collaboration & Partnership
-
Build effective relationships with leaders, employees, and cross-functional stakeholders.
-
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders regarding learning, development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
-
Work collaboratively with Human Resources and organizational leadership to support talent development and culture enhancement efforts.
-
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field of study
Years and Type of Experience Required:
-
Two years of relevant work experience
-
Experience working with healthcare organizations is preferred
Skills Required:
-
Knowledge of e-learning technologies, instructional design principles, organizational development principles, and learning management systems
-
Ability to facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs for employees and leaders at all levels
-
Interpersonal skills sufficient to explain policies and procedures, in sometimes difficult situations, and to people of varying educational levels and analytical ability; and assist employees with problems and complaints
-
Ability to balance priorities, meet tight deadlines, work at a computer, and follow up on details required to effectively administer programs
-
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Attention to accurate detail and timely follow through
The pay range for this position is $58,401.82 to $90,195.04 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
