Job Purpose:
The primary function of this role is to provide for the continuous direction and day-to-day operation of the program. Provide oversight for all assigned individuals and supervision to all assigned staff.
Hiring Range: $60,000/yr - $64,000/yr Commensurate with Experience

Essential Functions:
-
Maintain the health and well-being of the individuals EPI serves.
-
Ensure adequate staffing to meet the individuals’ needs.
-
Follow up on all employee documentation ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
-
Report all policy violations to appropriate personnel.
-
Participate in all individuals’ referrals, admissions, placement, and discharge.
-
Review and sign off on all billing documentation to ensure Agency compliance.
-
Provide on-going supervision and program training for all assigned staff; ensure Agency-wide training is compliant.

Serve as on-call on a rotating basis.
-
Promote workplace safety.
-
Performs other duties as assigned by Program Manager and/or designee within scope of practice.
Non-Essential Functions:
-
Complete and distribute monthly activity calendar.
-
Ensure all vehicle paperwork is completed; checks daily and follows up with staff as necessary.

Participate on various EPI committees as able.
Compliance:

Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion concerning all business-related matters, including but not limited to board/vendors/donors’ names, investigations, finance, operations, and employee relations matters.

Must be willing to complete specific company required trainings as mandated by our governing agency, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), at time of hire and annually thereafter.

Education and Experience:
-
A high school diploma or equivalent and preferably five years’ experience in the human service field; or
-
An associate’s degree in a related field and three years’ experience in the human service field; or
-
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and one-year experience in the human service field.
Supervision:
-
Manage team of DSPs to include time and attendance using HRIS platform.
-
Train, coach, and provide ongoing support to assigned team to promote consistency, accuracy, accountability, and adherence to department/program procedures.

Collaborate with Human Resources for recruitment/onboarding, performance management, etc.
-
Ensure team compliance of annual trainings.
Computer Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs to include Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
Qualifications:
-
Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License- a vehicle is required for business travel.
-
Solid verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all persons supported and a diverse employee population of various levels within the organization.
-
Demonstrated ability to use poise, tact, maturity and diplomacy during difficult and/or stressful situations to effectively collaborate and resolve issues.
-
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and customer requests, while meeting deadlines.
