Job Description

Our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA is undertaking a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program as part of its broader digital modernization strategy, with a targeted go-live in January 2028. The SAP Business Process Analyst will support the implementation, testing, deployment, and business adoption of new SAP capabilities across Cell & Gene Therapy operations, with an initial focus on approximately 35 users within the Spring House site.

This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, global SAP teams, system integrators, and site users to ensure successful migration from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. The position combines business process analysis, testing coordination, change management, training, user access management, and operational readiness activities throughout the implementation lifecycle. The analyst will also collaborate closely with teams at a sister site in Leiden, Netherlands, which is following a similar implementation approximately six months behind the Spring House deployment.

Key Responsibilities: -Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, including Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Inventory Management, CMMS, and related operational processes within the CGT environment. -Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document current and future-state processes, and ensure alignment between business needs and SAP functionality. -Participate in business process design workshops and cross-functional meetings to drive consensus and operational readiness across impacted groups. -Coordinate and support Business System Testing (BST), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and validation activities throughout the project lifecycle. -Facilitate migration activities from legacy ERP environments, including ECC and other site-specific systems, while supporting interim business operations during the transition period. -Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, training materials, and other supporting documentation required for system deployment and sustainment. -Lead change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training delivery, and end-user adoption initiatives. -Coordinate user provisioning activities, role mapping, and access requests, working with global SAP administration teams to ensure appropriate security assignments. -Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization activities, troubleshooting business process issues and coordinating resolution with technical support teams. -Collaborate with global and regional project teams, including counterparts at the Leiden site, to share lessons learned, implementation best practices, and deployment strategies. -Monitor implementation risks, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and compliance. -Assist with the long-term transition toward a fully integrated SAP S/4HANA operating environment.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. -3+ years of experience supporting SAP ERP systems -Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM, PM, or FI/CO. -Experience participating in large-scale ERP implementations, migrations, upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives. -Hands-on experience with testing activities, including BST, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution processes. -Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, manufacturing, quality, or maintenance business processes. -Demonstrated ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups. -Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation programs. -Functional experience with SAP WM/EWM, MM, PM, QM, or related supply chain and manufacturing modules. -Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, Cell & Gene Therapy, or regulated manufacturing industry experience. -Experience supporting legacy ERP environments and system migration initiatives. -Knowledge of change management methodologies and user adoption best practices. -Experience developing SOPs, training materials, and business process documentation.
