Full job description

The Administration EMO will provide administrative and operational support to the Expert Medical Opinion (EMO) team, ensuring the correct reception, coordination and follow-up of cases. The role will act as a key link between Case Managers, Experts, insurance companies, patients and internal teams, while also supporting data management, expert coordination, billing and payment processes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming requests (calls, emails, apps/portal etc.) requesting Teladoc Services and create, assign and follow up on EMO cases.
  • Collect and verify the required patient information and service eligibility.
  • Support in the coordination of communications between Case Managers, Medical Experts, physicians, insurance companies, and if necessary, customers to gather information.
  • Liaise with Medical Experts to support case resolution and ensure deadlines and SLAs are met.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team regarding payment-related matters.
  • Support communication between patients, physicians and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with incidents and contact customers when additional information is required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in the relevant systems.
  • Review quality feedback and escalate cases when necessary.
  • Follow internal procedures, client requirements and Teladoc Health policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in administration, operations or coordination, preferably in healthcare.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
  • Fixed-term contract: initially mornings (7am–3pm) and then afternoons (3pm–10pm)
  • Hybrid work in our offices located at Calle Via Augusta 252, 08017 Barcelona.
  • Initial and ongoing training.
