Full job description

Honeywell Technologies is hiring a Director Sales – Industrial Measurement and Control (IMC) . This position will lead our IMC Field Instruments, Process Instruments, Modular Systems, and Terminals business by driving sales growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, generating revenue, maximizing operating income, and managing key client relationships.

You will be member of the IMC United States and Canada Leadership Team reporting directly to the General Manager. This role will be a people leader over 6-10 direct reports.

In this role, you will impact the company’s success by leading the sales team and collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives and maximize profitability across all business lines.

This role will operate on a fully remote work schedule, plus 50% travel (US & Canada).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the portfolio in alignment with company goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve overall performance.

  • Be accountable for revenue and operating income for all business lines.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy driving optimal partner and channel strategies and performance.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and drive profitable growth.

  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Provide data driven pipeline insights with disciplined oversight and accountability in CRM and other tools.

  • Liaison with manufacturing to ensure timely production and delivery to meet revenue forecasts.

  • Manage budgets and ensure profitability across all sales initiatives.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 7+ years in sales leadership roles preferably in B2B/channel sales

  • Industrial Automation (IA) industry experience

  • Strong people leadership/management experience

  • Strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive sales strategy

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience in team management and development.

  • Ability to travel

PAY EQUITY

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas); and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Vermont, and Virginia is $198,000 - $248,000. For Washington DC, and most major metropolitan areas in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State, the annual base salary range is $198,000 - $248,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
