Full job description

The SDET role combines software development and testing expertise to deliver high-quality software through automation. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable testing processes. The role will have a focus across multiple projects globally and will interact with project teams in different zones. This is an opportunity to work with different solutions and different teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable automated test frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback.
  • Refactor and optimise automation scripts for reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers, Testers, and product teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Ensure high test coverage and contribute to defect prevention and early detection.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards for test automation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on automation best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e. g., Selenium, Virtuoso, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines (e. g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • UI Based automation testing experience.
  • Experience in natural language scripting / codeless automation solutions.
  • Experience with API automated testing.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
  • Solid experience with data-driven testing with a good understanding of data requirements for automated testing.
  • Strong route cause analysis skills to resolve test automation maintenance.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
