Overview

Advanced Practice Provider – Inpatient Surgical Non-OR – Piedmont Heart Institute, Vascular Surgery Team

Piedmont Heart Institute is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Vascular Surgery service line team working at our Atlanta campus. This is full-time position, four days a week that includes some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily rounds and assist in management of pre and post-operative patients

  • Evaluate consults, post-operative and preoperative patients in the outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting

  • Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the both ICU and acute care settings

  • Participates in clinic at leas once a week

  • Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with an Acute Care National Certification
