Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at CHI St. Vincent, you will be joining a thriving, well-established group with over four decades of unparalleled longevity in Hot Springs, Arkansas. You will lead clinical excellence at a faith-based, not-for-profit facility proudly named one of the "Best Places to Work in Arkansas" by Arkansas Business since 2019. Furthermore, you will help maintain our "High Performing" designations from the U.S. News and World Report for Heart Failure and Heart Attack, ensuring we continue to provide top-tier emergency care to the Southwest Arkansas region.
In this hybrid 70/30 clinical and administrative role, dedicating 70% of your time to high-acuity direct patient care and 30% to administrative oversight. You will ensure consistent performance in patient care and effective use of resources across the department. You will champion quality improvement initiatives, enforce safety protocols, and drive strategic departmental growth, all while serving as a collaborative liaison between the emergency medicine team and hospital administration.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician with a proven track record of clinical expertise and effective leadership. You will possess the ability to thrive in a high-impact and fast-paced trauma environment. Job Requirements
Required
-
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

Active Medical License in the State of Arkansas, or ability to obtain prior to employment

Completion of ACGME Emergency Medicine Residency

Active ACLS and PALS

Pay Range
$275.00 - $285.00 /hour
