We're looking for a Housing Finance Specialist 1,2 or 3 to join our team. If you are knowledgeable of MS Office and are proficient in writing, analyzing financial reports, and interpreting policies and cost principles, this may be a great opportunity for you.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES:

Three years of experience in housing finance or compliance programs, housing management, or administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. NOT ALL POSSIBLE TASKS ARE INCLUDED.• Performs data gathering, statistical analysis, and report generation as required.

  • Analyzes management operation, internal controls and records of participants being audited for adequacy, accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Researches legal, technical or policy issues as needed. Provides assistance to other specialists as assigned or needed.
  • Edit existing policies, draft new policies, assess current regulations, and research the impact of new and existing legislation.
  • Assists in implementing monitoring systems for compliance review in accordance with specified program requirements.
