Job Overview:

The Item Grouping Steward is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and ongoing standardization of product groupings on the B&H website. Candidate is a subject matter expert with strong product knowledge and a keen awareness of customer needs across diverse product areas. Under the supervision of the Item Grouping Manager, he/she creates, maintains and standardizes PDP navigation meant to streamline the purchasing process for customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Creates new product groupings adhering to a set of stylistic and strategic guidelines.

• Works with manager of Item Grouping to define and document customer edge cases.

• Revisits categories to update past product groupings for clarity and consistency.

Additional Responsibilities:

• As assigned by Item Grouping Manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with website navigation structure and search

• Strong knowledge of B&H products and categories

• Experience with target customer needs and online shopping behavior

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (esp. Excel)

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in selling professional or consumer level technology or utilization of professional or consumer level electronics
