Full job description

Job Description: Assistant Manager – Purchase Financing / B2B BNPL Function: Business / Product – Embedded Finance & Anchor Partnerships Location: Gurugram Reporting to: Senior Manager / Director of SMB Lending Experience Required: 3-5 years overall, with 2+ years specifically in Purchase Financing / Supply Chain Financing (SCF) / B2B BNPL Education: MBA / CA / PGDM from a reputed institute About the Role We are looking for a hands-on operator to run our Supply Chain Financing / Purchase Financing programs. This role sits one level below the program owner and is responsible for keeping existing anchor partnerships running smoothly day-to-day — Funnel management, MIS reporting, Managing invoicing and escalations, and importantly internal and external partner stakeholder management. This is a strong fit for someone who wants to build deep operational and product fluency in embedded lending before moving into a program-ownership role. Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Key Account Management - Serve as the day-to-day operational point of contact for assigned anchor accounts — handling queries, coordination, and issue resolution. - Track and close pending documentation/compliance items with both anchor partners and buyers
  • Part of the core strategic partnerships team with deep involvement in new initiatives, programs and partner launches.
  1. Stakeholder Liaison - Liaise with internal stakeholders — credit, risk, legal, compliance, tech/product, and finance — to keep operational workflows moving. - Manage junior-to-mid level relationships with anchor partner teams for smooth program functioning. - Escalate strategic or commercial issues to the reporting manager while owning resolution of operational/process issues independently.
  2. Funnel Monitoring & Optimization - Track the end-to-end buyer funnel for each anchor program — lead/eligible base, sourcing, application, KYC completion, credit approval, limit activation, and disbursement.
  • Identify drop-off points and bottlenecks at each funnel stage and diagnose root causes (documentation gaps, TAT delays, credit rejections, buyer inertia, etc.). - Work with anchor partners and internal teams to run targeted interventions to improve conversion at weak stages (e.g., nudges, campaign support, process simplification). - Monitor limit utilization and activation rates among onboarded buyers, and drive activity to convert dormant/under-utilized accounts.
  1. BAU & Operational Management - Own day-to-day operational running of live anchor programs — buyer onboarding tracking, limit activation, disbursement monitoring, and repayment follow-ups. - Coordinate with ops, tech, and credit teams to resolve operational bottlenecks (TAT breaches, onboarding drop-offs, system issues). - Ensure adherence to defined SOPs and turnaround times across the buyer lifecycle.
  2. MIS & Reporting - Build and maintain regular MIS — disbursement trends, active buyer counts, utilization rates, DPD/delinquency buckets, anchor-wise performance. - Prepare periodic (weekly/monthly) dashboards and review decks for internal leadership and anchor partner reviews.
  3. Process & Compliance - Ensure all activities are compliant with internal credit policy, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. - Support internal/external audits with documentation and data as required. - Identify and suggest process improvements to reduce TAT and manual effort (automation opportunities, checklist standardization, etc.). Required Skills & Experience
  • Total Experience: 3-5 years in BFSI / Fintech / NBFC
  • Domain Experience: Prior exposure to Purchase Financing, Supply Chain Financing, Dealer Financing, or B2B BNPL preferred
  • Core Skills: Strong MIS/reporting skills (Excel is a must).
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage internal teams and external partner counterparts at junior-to-mid level
  • Funnel Analysis: Ability to track and analyse conversion funnels, identify drop-offs, and drive activation/utilization improvements
  • Tools: Familiarity with LOS/LMS platforms, CRM, and reporting tools
