Full job description

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Hardware Architect to lead the architecture and development of complex, large-scale semiconductor test systems for DRAM and Flash memory applications. This individual will own system-level hardware architecture from concept through production and serve as a technical leader across cross-functional engineering teams.

Day-to-Day

Own system and board-level architecture for next-generation memory testers

Lead design efforts across digital, analog, power, FPGA, and ASIC domains

Drive hardware development through design, validation, manufacturing, and release

Solve complex technical and customer issues through root cause analysis

Partner with engineering leadership to define future product architecture and roadmap

Mentor engineers and serve as a technical advisor to customers and senior leadership

Skills and Requirements

12+ years of hardware design and system architecture experience

Strong PCB design expertise, including complex multi-board systems

Deep knowledge of high-speed digital design and interconnects (DDR, PCIe, SerDes, USB)

Hands-on experience with Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis

Experience leading hardware products from concept through manufacturing and customer release Semiconductor Automated Test Equipment (ATE) experience

Memory test experience (DRAM, NAND Flash, HBM, DDR)
