Full job description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of technical programs from initiation to delivery.

  • Manage the R&D, NPI and manufacture activities to meet the customer target spec and delivery time schedule.

  • Defineprogramscope,goals,successmetrics,anddeliverablesincollaborationwith stakeholders.

  • Createandmanagedetailedprojectplans,schedules,resourceallocations,andrisk mitigation strategies.

  • Monitorprogress,identifyandresolveissues,andensureaccountabilityacrossall teams.

  • Maintain cost models and drive organizations to improve them.

  • Interfacewithcustomersandleadsuchengagements,includingpresentationsand issue resolution.

  • Communicateprogramstatus,risks,andmilestonesclearlytostakeholdersand executive leadership.

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and execution efficiency.

Education & Experience

  • Advanceddegreeinopticalengineering,electricalengineering,physics,orother opto-electronic discipline.

  • 15+ years in technical program management or product line management

Skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Excellentformalandinformalcommunicationsskills,includingwrittenandoral discussions

  • Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.

  • Able to function in English.Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • This position is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA

  • May require occasional off-site meetings or travel

  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary

  • Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job

  • Mayrequireoccasionalovertimeandflexibilityinworkhourstoaccommodatethe executive's needs

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.

  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.

  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
