Warehouse Associate

Kelly Services is hiring 2 Warehouse Associates for our client in Salt Lake City UT 84123 . Qualified candidates are needed to start as soon as possible .

Position Details

• Pay: $19.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Shift: 8 hours per day

• Start time: Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.; flexibility may be available

• Openings: 2

• Start date: Immediate, if possible

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse and laboratory operations, including material handling, transportation of supplies, and completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Competencies

• Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.

• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

• Follow written and verbal instructions.

• Perform basic computer tasks using Microsoft Office, email, and the internet.

• Multitask and work independently.

• Provide excellent customer service and communication.

• Have legible handwriting and the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.

• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

• Lift up to 45 pounds and operate material-handling equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies.

• Complete required forklift training.

• Travel between transportation hubs, local client facilities, and local Nelson Labs locations as needed.

Work Environment

• Primarily a warehouse setting with occasional laboratory exposure.

• Personal protective equipment is required in laboratory areas, including lab coats, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes.

• May work in hot, cold, or noisy environments.

• Must be comfortable working in an environment that requires frequent movement and material handling.

Physical Requirements

• Move or remain active for up to 70% of the workday; sit or stand at a desk for up to 30%.

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 45 pounds.

• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or stools.

• Operate material-handling equipment as needed.

• Willingness to complete forklift training.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Forklift certification and/or previous forklift experience preferred.

• HAZMAT certification preferred.

Required Screening

• Background check required.

• Drug test required.

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Candidates must successfully complete all required screenings before placement.
