Full job description

Job Summary:

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) will provide behavioral health services for pediatric patients and families in the Syracuse City School District Behavioral Health Program (SCSD). This position works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psycho-social management and support to patients and families and provides behavioral health consultation, assessment and therapy services to at-risk patients. The LMHC will coordinate with staff on referrals to meet the psycho-social needs of patients and families.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field. Current (or eligible) NYS licensed Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and three years of post-licensure experience providing therapy for children and families required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a LMHC in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, days
