Order Entry Representative

Job Description

Responsible for taking inbound calls from customers looking to place a new order or ask product related questions. Will assist with any general administrative duties in the office and help check visitors in. This person must be comfortable sitting at the front desk and answering calls and talking to customers in person.

Answer incoming calls and direct to correct person/department

Manage order fulfillment processes of flavors, fragrances, and aroma chemicals by assisting customers, taking orders and expediting when requested.

Maintain Customer Database, including Customer information, customer item information, pricing, special notes, etc.

Provide accurate, responsive, and efficient placement of orders

Talk with customers by phone or via email, to take orders and expedite when necessary

Follow up on order status, back order expediting, shipping discrepancies, and missing documents

Contact customers when orders are delayed

Provide quality service while continuously striving for improvement and consistency

Filing and organizing sales orders, invoices, and customer's correspondence when needed

Qualifications

MUST HAVES:

-2 years of professional customer service experience from a retail & manufacturing company

-Order Entry experience in an ERP

-Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have:

-ERP Software Microsoft Dynamics OR SAP

-Bachelors Degree / Associates Degree

-Bilingual in Spanish

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northbrook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
