SHP Adjunct Instructor - PA program

Position Description:

The Adjunct Instructor for the Physician Assistant (PA) Program provides professional level work, didactic and/or clinical instruction on a per-course or limited-term basis to graduate-level PA students at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Health Professions, without any guarantee of continuing employment.

This role supports the program’s mission to educate competent, compassionate, and evidence-based providers who improve healthcare outcomes in West Texas and beyond. Adjunct faculty teach on an as needed basis and may deliver instruction in-person, online, hybrid, or at clinical training sites.

  • Teaching duties for the School of Health Professions Physician Assistant program as defined by the designated department.

Visa Information:

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.
