What You Will Do:

Lead, train, guide and develop a team of Contracts professionals and/or managers in a variety of areas:

Negotiation strategy

Terms and Conditions

Contractual and Business Change management

Proposal management

Risk mitigation and business management

Audit support

Letter writing
-
Contract fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Requirement interpretation and flowdown
-
Provide performance feedback and employee support to team members on a regular basis in accordance with company and functional expectations.

Develop process improvement to enhance functional performance.
-
Establish relationships with internal and external customers.
-
Manage financial and operational impacts to the Business Unit.
-
Model and mentor in the areas of business judgement, strategic vision, forward thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and other intangible business skills required for successful business support.

Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.

Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP)
-
Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate customer responses.
-
Interpret and draft Contract language.
-
Negotiate contracts.
-
Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and if not communicate differences and mitigate risks.
-
Support program management and execution reviews.
-
Work closely with the General Managers and Business Development on strategy for competitive pursuits, including development Intellectual Property and investment strategy.

Support Military Aftermarket for their associated Programs by:
-
Cross functional collaboration
-
Providing negotiation strategy guidance
-
Leading or Supporting customer negotiations, as needed
-
Providing sound contractual recommendations
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

Government contracting experience

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
