Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics & Data Engineer who can operate at the intersection of marketing analytics and analytics engineering.

This person will serve as the connective tissue between Growth Marketing, paid-media channel owners, and the teams responsible for the client's data infrastructure. Approximately half of the role will focus on evaluating marketing and channel performance, while the other half will focus on improving the quality, automation, reliability, and scalability of the data supporting those decisions.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in paid-media analytics, attribution, and incrementality, as well as the technical ability to work with data pipelines, warehouses, reporting systems, and marketing platforms. This is not a traditional reporting role. Our client needs someone who can identify gaps, define solutions, and move work forward independently in an evolving data environment. The role is a 50/50 split between Marketing Analytics and Data Engineering

The position was designed to directly influence growth decisions, support an eight-figure annual marketing budget, and bridge the gap between channel marketers and the company’s data infrastructure

Skills and Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, marketing data, or a closely related discipline.

  • Strong background in B2C paid-media analytics and performance marketing.

  • Deep understanding of marketing attribution and incrementality, including how the two approaches differ and how each informs paid-media strategy.

  • Experience analyzing acquisition performance across multiple paid-marketing channels.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.

  • Experience working with data warehouses, pipelines, BI platforms, semantic layers, and marketing technology systems.

  • Ability to automate or operationalize recurring analytics and reporting processes.

  • Experience designing or evaluating experiments such as A/B tests, holdouts, or geographic-market tests.

  • Working knowledge of customer-acquisition cost, return on ad spend, LTV/CAC economics, and subscription or customer-growth metrics. Ability to diagnose tracking and data-quality issues and coordinate their resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate hypotheses, identify gaps, and drive work forward independently.

  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

  • Comfort operating in an environment where data sources and processes are still evolving

  • Snowflake and/or Redshift

  • Segment

  • Mode and/or Omni

  • Kochava or similar attribution/measurement platforms

  • LiftLab or related incrementality/experimentation tools

  • Google, Meta, and other paid media platforms
