Production Supervisor (Site Leader) | Port Arthur, TX
Role Summary
The Production Supervisor will serve as the operational leader for Flowserve's Port Arthur Quick Response Center (QRC). This individual will lead daily operations supporting valve repair, valve assembly, field service activities, and customer turnaround projects while driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and employee engagement.
This position requires a hands-on leader capable of building team culture, developing employee accountability, and delivering exceptional customer responsiveness in a fast-paced industrial service environment. The successful candidate will balance operational excellence with strong people leadership to ensure customer commitments are met while continuously improving performance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day operations of the Port Arthur QRC.

Supervise machinists, welders, assemblers, and field service personnel.

Drive a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
-
Rebuild team engagement and establish a high-performance work environment.
-
Manage production schedules, repair schedules, and turnaround project execution.
-
Ensure customer commitments and on-time delivery objectives are achieved.
-
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, delivery, efficiency, utilization, cost, scrap, and rework.
-
Support emergency customer requirements, shutdowns, outages, and critical turnaround work.
-
Partner with sales, engineering, quality, planning, and customer-facing teams.
-
Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and operational improvement efforts.
-
Manage labor utilization and overtime while maintaining profitability objectives.
-
Drive daily problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of manufacturing, repair, service, or industrial operations leadership experience.
-
Experience supervising hourly skilled trades employees.
-
Demonstrated leadership within machining, valve repair, industrial maintenance, rotating equipment, pumps, valves, or related industries.
-
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
-
Experience managing operational KPIs.
-
Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Highly Preferred
-
Valve manufacturing or valve repair experience.
-
Industrial service center or QRC experience.
-
Experience supporting refinery, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial customers.
-
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree.
-
Knowledge of AWS or ASME standards.
-
ISO 9001 experience.

Field Service leadership experience.
