Description

Leidos is currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our mission customer in the Linthicum MD area.

The Technical Writer will join a team whose mission is to provide cyber security support to the Nuclear Command and Control System (NCCS) organization within the Cyber Security Directorate (CSD).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and performance status.

  • Write meeting minutes from weekly technical meetings.

  • Update the weekly, monthly, and yearly spend plan tracker.

  • Update status briefings to include Gantt chart and schedule for bi-weekly brief to leadership.

  • Attend weekly meetings with team and provide minutes.

  • Update spreadsheet and Power Point briefs Project requirements and master plan and schedule.

  • Capture and update requirements matrix.

  • Update the SOW and reference documents for follow-on contract

  • Complete Data transfers from unclassified network to classified networks

  • Provide feedback on the contracting schedule for the program to remain in sync to project lead.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Education/Experience

  • 8 years’ of experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. Four (4) years of additional technical writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Masters’ Degree can reduce years of experience by 2 years.

  • Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint experienced desired.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
