About the role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented colleague to support our Supplier Food Safety and Quality End-to-End process from identifying need of a new material or need of alternate sourcing through auditing, onboarding, performance management, incident investigation, and through material or supplier deactivation. This role ensures that all raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, contract manufacturers, and service providers consistently meet company specifications, regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and customer expectations. This role will partner with factory FSQ leaders and teams to assure all food safety programs, sampling & testing plans, and supplier performance measurements are designed and implemented. The position partners closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Food Safety & Quality, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams to manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with global food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Your responsibilities

Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, approval, monitoring, and requalification programs to ensure alignment with food safety, quality, and business requirements.

Conduct supplier risk assessments and food safety vulnerability evaluations for ingredients, packaging, co-manufacturers, and service providers.

Develop and maintain supplier performance management processes, including scorecards, KPI tracking, and periodic performance reviews.

Assess supplier compliance with regulatory, certification, and industry standards through audit support and review of third-party audit reports.

Partner with plant and FSQ teams to establish monitoring and mitigation plans for high-risk suppliers and materials.

Build strong relationships with critical and high-risk suppliers to provide ongoing oversight of processes, controls, and quality performance.

Support supplier-related quality incidents, complaints, and non-conformances by reviewing root cause analyses and verifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate cross-functionally to manage the full supplier lifecycle, driving continuous improvement from supplier selection and onboarding through performance management, risk mitigation, and offboarding.
The experience we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

7-10+ years of food safety and quality assurance experience in food manufacturing, preferably within highly regulated environments.

Proven supplier quality management and auditing expertise, including 4+ years of supplier audits and working knowledge of FSSC 22000, SQF, or other GFSI-recognized schemes.

Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, FSMA Preventive Controls, HACCP, and global food safety standards; PCQI certification preferred.

Professional auditor certifications (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, ASQ, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

Experience operating in global, multi-site organizations across regions such as the Americas, Europe, and Asia; multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Excellent auditing, analytical, project management, and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and manage global audit programs.

Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in eQMS platforms, audit software, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and cross-functional collaboration.

Salary range
USD $93,000.00 - $139,000.00
Pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
