Full job description

Job Duties

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Payroll Analyst for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager located in Minnesota. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. This position is 100% Remote.

Compensation: $30.13 - $31.06 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:

This role supports the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and related services, including payroll processing, recordkeeping, reporting, and system administration. The ideal candidate will assist with the company's time tracking and payroll systems, support payroll audits and issue resolution, respond to employee payroll inquiries, and partner with Human Resources to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Support payroll workflows in Workday to ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, garnishments, subsidies, gift cards, employee master data changes, and related audits

Serve as the process owner for timekeeping, including data accuracy, audits, and issue resolution; provide guidance and support to employees, managers, and HR partners

Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and data validation activities by reviewing reports, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues as appropriate

Serve as one of the primary contacts responding to employee and internal payroll inquiries, providing timely, accurate, and service oriented support while escalating complex issues as needed

Maintain and update payroll and timekeeping checklists, job aids, and process documentation to support consistent and compliant operations

Primary Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma from an accredited school or GED is required

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Ability to effectively analyze information to resolve problems

Desired Skills:

1+ year of payroll experience

Prior experience with Excel/Word/Payroll software systems

Experience with Workday's payroll and timekeeping software
