Human Resources Administrator | $24.00 per Hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Human Resources Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, applicants, and visitors while providing administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions.

The Human Resources Administrator plays a key role in maintaining employee records, administering HR programs, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and ensuring accurate and compliant HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for employee service, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries.

  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Support employee lifecycle activities including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.

  • Prepare HR correspondence, employment documentation, and standard forms.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.

HRIS & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.

  • Process personnel transactions and employee data updates.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

  • Generate reports, dashboards, and HR metrics.

  • Maintain electronic and physical personnel files.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate hourly recruiting activities, including:

  • Job postings

  • Applicant tracking

  • Interview scheduling

  • Background checks

  • Reference checks

  • Drug screenings

  • Employment documentation

  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation scheduling, paperwork, and system access.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

HR Program Administration

  • Administer employee programs such as recognition initiatives, attendance incentives, and tuition reimbursement.

  • Coordinate employee events, wellness initiatives, service awards, and company-sponsored activities.

  • Maintain program records and supporting documentation.

Administrative & Systems Support

  • Manage employee badge and facility access processes.

  • Maintain access system records, schedules, and permissions.

  • Coordinate badge inventory and department supplies.

  • Support audits and compliance reviews.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and service delivery.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Administration, HR Operations, or HR Coordinator experience.

  • Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, procedures, and employment regulations.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and employee data management.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and HR programs in a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment.
