Full job description
The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who has exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, is organized, and can foster positive working relationships in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Technician performing a full range of human resources activities servicing the Quality-of-Life Agencies (DNR, EGLE and MDARD) Characteristics, behaviors, and personality traits of our ideal candidate include:
- Ability to investigate, analyze, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
- Ability to manage many tasks and responsibilities effectively at the same time while frequently switching between tasks
- An ability to plan-ahead to problem solve and avoid potential issues
- An understanding for sense of urgency in particular matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
