Position Highlights
This role provides an opportunity to make a direct impact on the student experience while working with industry-leading enrollment technologies and collaborating with dedicated professionals committed to student success.
As an Admissions Operations Specialist, you will work extensively with multiple student information and customer relationship management systems, including Slate, Campus Solutions, OnBase, Avaya, and Five9, to support admissions and enrollment operations. The position plays a vital role in managing applicant records, responding to prospective student and family inquiries, processing admissions-related transactions, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the enrollment journey.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and have a passion for helping students successfully navigate the admissions process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Processes applications and related documents for various student types, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Provides comprehensive guidance and support to prospective students and their families through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions

Manages the logistics of campus visits, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for visitors

Assists the admissions team with the preparation and execution of events, such as open houses, information sessions, and orientation programs
-
Identifies and troubleshoots errors in the application process, implementing effective solutions to ensure smooth operations
-
Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of applicant information and communication logs in the admissions database
-
Works closely with other departments, such as financial aid, academic advising, and student services, to provide a seamless admissions experience
-
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge of administrative processes, including supply ordering, inventory tracking, and facilities management

Knowledge of admissions processes, including understanding the procedures and requirements for processing applications

Knowledge of student information systems

Skill in identifying issues in the application process and implementing solutions to ensure smooth operations
-
Skill in providing support and creating positive experiences for prospective students and their families
-
Ability to provide guidance and offer clear and accurate information to prospective students and their families about the admissions process

Ability to quickly adjust to changes in procedures, policies, and technology used in the admissions process
Minimum Education & Experience

High School diploma or GED

4 year of relevant experience

Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Job Level Overview
Operations, Administrative, Service, or Technical Support Level 2 - An intermediate level role with working foundational knowledge and skills to perform routine and occasionally non-routine tasks. Tasks may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. May provide assistance to entry level staff.
