Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their IT career. The ideal candidate will have a CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent hands-on experience and be excited about learning new technologies while providing outstanding support to internal employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 Help Desk support for approximately 100 end users

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and basic networking issues

• Support Windows desktops, laptops, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices

• Perform password resets and user account administration within Active Directory

• Configure, image, and deploy new PCs, laptops, and peripherals

• Document support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system

• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary

• Assist with IT projects, technology upgrades, and new equipment deployments

• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or related IT experience

• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365

• Basic knowledge of Active Directory

• Understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ Certification

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience working in a manufacturing or corporate office environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
