Full job description

Job Duties

We are seeking a Materials Engineer to support medical device products through laboratory testing, materials characterization, and failure analysis. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, support product development, and review technical documentation to drive informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory testing, materials characterization, and failure analysis.

  • Support product development and investigate materials-related issues.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams on technical solutions.

  • Review technical documents and extract critical information for decision-making.

Minimum Education Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related field.

Minimum Experience Required

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Hands-on laboratory experience.

  • Knowledge of metals and metallurgical principles.

  • Understanding of electrochemistry and corrosion-related concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
