Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for full-time Patient Dining Associate positions, working from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with every other weekend required. As a Patient Dining Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by providing exceptional meal service within the hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include various tasks such as menu selections, tray assembly, and food preparation. Additionally, you will manage special requests and maintain galley and floor stock to ensure efficient nourishment delivery to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal service to patients in the hospital.

• Assemble meal trays and menus according to guidelines.

• Communicate patient diets, delivery of meals, and special requests with the patient care team.

• Handle special requests and maintain galley and floor stock.

• Ensure meal services are delivered promptly and accurately.

• Provide customer service in a professional and friendly manner.

• Follow food safety and portion guidelines.

• Ensure work area is set up and supplies are organized before, during, and after the shift.

• Clean and sanitize the workstation and utensils.

• Use equipment and materials properly and safely.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food service, food preparation, and food production.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a non-patient facing role.

• Knowledge of food safety practices.

• Ability to assemble trays and meals accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in tray line, food service, tray passing, and tray building.

• Experience in hospitality and general labor.

• Experience in cleaning, cooking, and packaging.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
