Internal Audit Manager/Director

Description

We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager/Director to lead audit initiatives that strengthen financial controls, operational effectiveness, and regulatory readiness. This role partners with leadership to assess risk, improve governance practices, and provide practical recommendations that support sound business decisions. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in public accounting and audit, along with the ability to communicate findings clearly across a range of stakeholders.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related assurance function.

• Background in public accounting with hands-on audit experience.

• Strong understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and audit methodology.

• Ability to analyze financial and operational information and translate findings into meaningful recommendations.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to business leaders.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance is preferred.
