Full job description

Responsibilities

Peraton is looking for a .NETSoftware Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the DOS eOPF Program. This is a short term need and will be a temporary position of 7 months. It is a fully remote position that can be worked anywhere in the US.

What you will do:

  • Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based, technical, and business software systems.

  • Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.

  • Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.

  • Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.

  • Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria.

  • Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.

  • Interfaces with government engineers/architects regarding architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on needs and anticipated technology advances.

  • Defines templates and sets best standards and practices that development teams can utilize.

  • Coordinates with platform vendors for issues and support requests.

  • Works with operations personnel and application users to troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD

  • Experience working with one or more of C#, Visual Basic, .NET, MVC, Angular, JavaScript, JSON, Oracle, PL/SQL, Web Services, HTML, and HTML5.

  • Experience working in agile, software development, and production environments.

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance or will consider a confirmed interim Secret clearance to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a full stack developer.

  • Experience with e.POWER.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Hold an active government clearance.

Target Salary Range $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
