  • Collaborate on integration of smart infusion pumps and pharmacy compounding technologies.

  • Ensure accurate interoperability between pharmacy systems, EHR, and external data sources using standards such as HL7 and FHIR.

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor medication utilization, safety metrics, and operational performance.

  • Support regulatory reporting and accreditation requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission).

  • Analyze trends in medication errors, override rates, dosing variances, and formulary compliance.

Workflow Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Conduct workflow analyses across inpatient, NICU, PICU, oncology, and ambulatory pharmacy services.

  • Lead and support system upgrades, new module implementations, and go-live activities.

  • Apply quality improvement methodologies to enhance medication-use processes.

Education & Change Management

  • Provide training to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and prescribers on system enhancements.

  • Serve as pharmacy subject matter expert during EHR upgrades and vendor implementations.
