Job Title: Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading work orders, reworking connectors, and assembling components into wire harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders, diagrams, form boards, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.

• Rework connectors, back shells, wire terminations, splices, split rings, lugs, and any other component built into a wire harness.

• Wrap and tie wires efficiently.

• Route wires according to specifications.

• Change routing and breakouts as required.

• Perform electrical tests to ensure quality and safety standards.

• Complete associated paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience with aircraft electrical systems.

• Proficiency in wire harness assembly and repair.

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft components is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Work Environment

Join a team of 15-20 employees working in a collaborative environment. Candidates must be available to work both 1st and 3rd shift schedules. The dress code is casual, with jeans, work shirts, and closed-toed shoes. The 3rd shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30pm to 6:30am (starting Sunday night), and Friday, 9:30pm to 4:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
