Job Duties
The Mental Health Professional is responsible to provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling support services for a mixed caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. The Mental Health Professional will be familiar with other services and resources in the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required. Work will be primarily in-person, with some potentially over a telehealth platform. Interest in working with early childhood (DC: 0-5) a plus.
Minimum Education Required
Mental Health Professional Education and Experience:
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences and licensed or on licensure track under Minnesota Statues as a psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, clinical counselor, or psychiatric nurse.
Clinical Trainee Education and Experience:
Enrolled in an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is participating in a practicum or internship with the license holder through the individual's graduate program; or
Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice.
