Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join STV Inc's PMCM team in California. This role will provide senior-level oversight of architects, engineers, construction managers, specialty consultants, and other professional service providers supporting public-sector capital improvement projects. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing consultant contracts, scopes of work, deliverables, schedules, budgets, performance, and coordination to ensure consultants meet contractual requirements and project objectives. The successful candidate will bring strong representative experience, consultant and contract management expertise, and the ability to oversee multiple professional service providers across complex public-sector projects.

Skills and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, construction management, program management, design management, or consultant management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience overseeing professional consultants, including architects, engineers, construction managers, PM consultants, and specialty consultants on complex capital projects.

  • Managing consultant scopes, deliverables, staffing, schedules, budgets, quality, and overall performance.

  • Professional-services contract administration experience, including scopes of work, fee reviews, invoices, amendments, change proposals, contract modifications, and consultant performance management.

  • Experience managing multiple consultant contracts simultaneously

  • Full capital-project lifecycle experience, covering planning, programming, design, procurement, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

  • Project controls knowledge: scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, risk management, change management, milestones, and document control.

  • Ability to identify and resolve consultant issues Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, construction, project controls, contractors, construction managers, and specialty disciplines.

  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with project leadership, consultants, contractors, state agencies, public-sector stakeholders, and other project partners.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Experience with major capital projects in approximately the $100M to $200M range, based on your intake.

  • Strong judicial, corrections, justice, or comparable public-works project experience, based on the hiring manager’s stated preference.

  • Previous experience supporting the Judicial Council of California, California state agencies, or another public owner

  • Direct experience with courthouses, correctional facilities, justice facilities, civic buildings, institutional facilities, or public-facilities capital programs.
