A Snapshot of Your Day

Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspectsof manufacturing service generator cores.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Becomefamiliar with all tools and equipment for generator core assembly.

• Performfitting and assembly operations necessary to build and assemble completecores, torque and tension bolts and hardware per drawings.

• Set upand operate robots, clean and detail cores.

• Buildand assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturingservice generator cores.

What You Bring:

• Highschool education or GED required.

• Preferto have a candidate with 4 or more years of industrial-mechanicalexperience.

• Proficiencywith shop tools – grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., andability to choose optimal tool for the task. Required to lift / move50 lb. materials.

• Abilityto use precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills.Ability to read, write, and complete simple forms.

• Successfulapplicants must be able to pass hearing, vision, and pulmonarytests. Operator must be able to be fit to wear a respirator. Mustalso be able to obtain fork truck and crane license.

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment inthe United States without need for current or future employer-sponsoredwork authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorshipmay be eligible for internal transfers.
