Software Development Engineer 2

We are looking for an SDE II who can build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems. You will take end-to-end ownership of products and features, from design and development to deployment and production support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, working with microservices and cloud infrastructure, and taking ownership of delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and highly maintainable backend systems.
• Build and enhance microservices-based applications using Java and Spring.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and implementation to deployment and production.
• Write clean, unit-tested, production-ready code and ensure quality across design, development, and bug fixes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a strong focus on reliability and user impact.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders to deliver features effectively.
• Contribute to high-level design, technical decisions, and scalable system architecture.
• Continuously learn and adopt technologies that help build large-scale, performant, reliable, and sustainable systems.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in software/backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Golang, or Python.
• Experience building scalable RESTful/SOAP microservices.
• Good understanding of high-level system design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent coding skills with the ability to translate designs into robust implementations.
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in a collaborative engineering environment with ownership of production systems.
• B. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent, preferably from a reputed institution.
• Strong learning ability and willingness to adopt new technologies and engineering practices.
