How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Intuitive Surgical Partnership: Act as the "right hand" to our surgeons by anticipating every move. With elite focus and a proactive mindset, you'll ensure the exact instrument or supply is ready before it’s even requested.

  • Guardian of Accuracy: Take ownership of the sterile field with masterfully organized workflows. By maintaining 100% accuracy in instrument and sponge counts, you serve as the final word in patient safety from incision to closure.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Per TCA68-57-101(a), non-certified applicants must have at least 18 months experience as a surg technologist in the 3 years preceding May21,2007; or began the appropriate training to be a surg technologist prior to May21, 2007, & completed by May21,2010.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Needing a flexible schedule and weekly availability

  • Previous specialty experience with Spine, Joints, Cardiac, Plastics, Robotics, General and GYN
