Workday Developer

Job Description

Role Overview Seeking a Workday Developer to lead complex integration, development, and analytics efforts across the Workday ecosystem. This individual will serve as a technical leader supporting Workday HCM and Financial Management platforms, building integrations, developing Prism Analytics solutions, creating advanced reporting, and partnering with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical development skills combined with functional Workday knowledge and the ability to drive solutions from design through production support. Day-to-Day

• Design, build, and support Workday integrations with enterprise systems.
• Develop Prism Analytics datasets, pipelines, and reporting solutions.
• Build Workday Extend applications when applicable.
• Create dashboards, Discovery Boards, and executive reporting.
• Configure security, business processes, calculated fields, and custom objects.
• Support production issues and Workday releases.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders on requirements and solution delivery. Provide technical leadership across Workday initiatives.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

• 4+ years of hands-on Workday Development experience.

• Strong Workday Integrations experience:

• Workday Studio

• EIB

• Core Connectors

• REST/SOAP Web Services

• Workday Prism Analytics experience building:

• Data Pipelines

• Datasets

• Transformations

• Analytics Solutions

• OR strong Workday Extend experience

• Experience supporting both:

• Workday HCM (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll)

• Workday Financials

• Advanced Workday Reporting:

• Report Writer

• Discovery Boards

• Dashboards

• Workday Configuration:

• Business Processes

• Security

• Calculated Fields

• Custom Objects

• SDLC / Agile experience.

• Strong production support and troubleshooting. ETL and relational database knowledge. Plusses

• Workday Studio, Integrations, Extend, or Prism Certifications.

• Workday Accounting Center experience.

• Experience building and orchestrating complex enterprise integrations.

• Prism Analytics experience supporting Financial use cases and reporting.

• Deep Workday Financials knowledge:

• Procurement

• Expenses

• Projects

• Accounting Center

• CI/CD and DevOps exposure (Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.).

• Insurance industry experience. Database modeling experience.
