Required Education/Experience
-
Associate's Degree and four years of experience or

Bachelor's Degree and three years of related experience or
-
Master's Degree and two years of related experience
Relevant Work Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting physical security projects, including access control, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection systems, security devices, and hardware/software integration within corporate networks, required.
-
Perform security vulnerability assessments to help protect critical electric and gas infrastructure and support system reliability, required.
-
Support the implementation of access control, intrusion detection, and other security technologies to restrict unauthorized access to Company facilities and assets, required.
-
Working knowledge of network security principles, best practices, and security technology integration, required.

Understanding of fiber optic networking, required.
-
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, required.

Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, required.

Sound judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical and business considerations, required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results, required.

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, required.

The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.

Must be able to lift and rack equipment.

Must be able to work in all environmental conditions.

Must be able to climb a ladder.

Must be able to be on call around the clock.
