Description We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee a residential and commercial portfolio in Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure to day-to-day operations, communicate confidently with property owners and residents, and keep performance on track across multiple properties. You will be supported by established processes and dedicated operational partners, allowing you to focus on portfolio results, service quality, and consistent property performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and service standards are maintained.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and residents, addressing concerns promptly and providing clear, thorough updates.

  • Monitor key portfolio indicators such as occupancy, rent collection, delinquency, budget performance, and unit turn timelines.

  • Recommend rental pricing, maintenance priorities, and property improvement decisions based on market conditions and asset performance.

  • Coordinate with leasing and maintenance teams to support timely move-ins, repairs, inspections, and resident retention efforts.

  • Oversee vendor activity, approve completed work when appropriate, and help ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Support accounts payable activities related to property operations, including invoice review and coordination of payment processing.

  • Handle administrative office functions such as maintaining records, organizing documentation, managing supplies, and supporting front-office communication. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in property management, including residential, commercial, or mixed portfolios.

  • Strong working knowledge of property operations, resident relations, owner communication, and maintenance coordination.

  • Ability to manage administrative responsibilities with accuracy, including documentation, scheduling, and office support tasks.

  • Experience with accounts payable processes and property-related invoice handling.

  • Confident decision-making skills with the ability to stay composed in time-sensitive situations.

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to both internal and external interactions.

  • Proficiency in tracking portfolio performance metrics and using data to guide operational decisions.
